Job Summary:

The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate manufacturing projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, liaising with clients, and implementing project management best practices to drive successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets. Define project objectives and deliverables in alignment with company goals.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and other staff. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance and support.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal departments. Ensure clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets. Monitor expenses and financial performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Address issues proactively to minimize impact on project timelines and objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and regulatory compliance. Implement quality control processes and conduct regular inspections.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress using key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics. Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders and management.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate project processes and outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement. Implement best practices and lessons learned for future projects.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, or a related field. PMP or similar project management certification is a Must.
  • Experience:  4 to 8 years of experience in project management within a manufacturing environment. Proven track record of managing complex projects successfully.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based with occasional visits to the manufacturing floor.
  • May require extended hours or travel as needed to meet project demands.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and industry standards.
